Instructions
Power Supply Configuration:
- Ensure that the digital core is powered with a stable voltage between 1.8V and 3.3V.
- The analog components should be powered with a voltage between 2.7V and 5.5V.
- The I/O voltage must be within the range of 1.8V to 3.3V.
Sampling Rate Selection:
- Configure the sampling rate according to the application requirements, supporting rates from 8kHz to 96kHz.
Audio Path Configuration:
- Set up the analog input and output paths as required by the application.
- Use the internal DSP for processing audio signals, including equalization, crossover, and other effects.
Class D Amplifier Operation:
- Connect the speaker outputs to the appropriate pins.
- Ensure the load impedance is suitable for the maximum output power (4Ω recommended).
Standby Mode:
- To reduce power consumption, enable the standby mode when the device is not in use.
- The current consumption in standby mode is approximately 10μA.
Thermal Management:
- Ensure adequate heat dissipation, especially when operating at high output power levels.
- Place the device on a PCB with sufficient thermal vias and copper planes.
ESD Protection:
- Handle the device with care to avoid ESD damage.
- Use appropriate ESD protection measures during handling and assembly.
Software Configuration:
- Use the provided software development kit (SDK) to configure the device settings via I2C or SPI interface.
- Refer to the datasheet for detailed register maps and configuration parameters.
Testing and Validation:
- Perform initial testing to verify the functionality of the audio codec.
- Validate the performance parameters such as SNR, THD+N, and output power.
Compliance and Certification:
- Ensure that the design meets the relevant standards and certifications for audio devices.
- Consult the datasheet and application notes for specific compliance requirements.
