The TMC2072-MT is a high-performance, low-voltage, low-power stepper motor controller from Microchip Technology. It is designed to drive two-phase stepper motors in a wide range of applications, including industrial, automotive, and consumer applications. The TMC2072-MT features a wide operating voltage range of 4.5V to 28V and a maximum output current of up to 2.5A per phase. It also features a high-speed PWM control with a maximum frequency of up to 2MHz and a wide range of microstepping resolutions up to 256 microsteps per full step. The device also includes a variety of protection features, including thermal shutdown, over-current protection, and short-circuit protection. The TMC2072-MT is suitable for applications such as 3D printers, CNC machines, robotics, medical equipment, and other industrial automation applications. It is available in a 100-LQFP package.
