Instructions for Use:
Forward Current (IF):
- Ensure that the forward current does not exceed 20 mA to avoid damaging the device.
- Typical operating current is 10 mA.
Peak Reverse Voltage (VRRM):
- The device can withstand a peak reverse voltage up to 1200 V. Do not exceed this value to prevent breakdown.
Maximum Repetitive Peak Current (IORM):
- The maximum repetitive peak current should not exceed 1.5 A to ensure reliable operation.
Forward Voltage (VF):
- The forward voltage drop across the device is typically 1.3 V at a forward current of 10 mA. It ranges from 1.1 V to 1.6 V.
Reverse Leakage Current (IR):
- At a reverse voltage of 700 V, the reverse leakage current should not exceed 500 nA. Typical leakage is around 100 nA.
Isolation Voltage (VIORM):
- The isolation voltage between input and output is rated at 5000 Vrms. This ensures high insulation performance.
Propagation Delay Time (tPD):
- The propagation delay time, which is the time taken for the signal to travel from input to output, ranges from 10 ns to 40 ns with a typical value of 25 ns.
Rise Time (tr) and Fall Time (tf):
- Both rise and fall times are within the range of 10 ns to 40 ns, with a typical value of 25 ns. These parameters are crucial for high-speed applications.
Operating Temperature (TOPR):
- The device can operate within a temperature range of -40°C to 105°C. Ensure that the ambient temperature does not exceed these limits.
Storage Temperature (TSTG):
- When storing the device, keep it within a temperature range of -55°C to 125°C to maintain its integrity.
Additional Notes:
- Always refer to the datasheet for detailed specifications and application notes.
- Proper heat sinking may be required for continuous operation at higher currents or temperatures.
- Ensure that all connections are secure and meet the electrical requirements specified.
