Instructions for Use:
Voltage Handling:
- Ensure that the drain-source voltage (VDS) does not exceed 30V.
- The gate-source voltage (VGS) should be within the range of -10V to 10V.
Current Handling:
- The continuous drain current (ID) should not exceed 6.0A.
- For pulse applications, the peak drain current (IDpeak) can go up to 18.0A.
On-State Resistance:
- The on-state resistance (RDS(on)) is 3.5mΩ at VGS = 4.5V and 2.7mΩ at VGS = 10V. Ensure the gate voltage is set appropriately to minimize power loss.
Gate Drive:
- The gate charge (QG) is 15nC. Use a driver capable of providing sufficient current to switch the device quickly and efficiently.
Capacitance:
- The input capacitance (Ciss) is 340pF, and the output capacitance (Coss) is 80pF. These values affect switching speed and should be considered in circuit design.
Power Dissipation:
- The total power dissipation (PTOT) should not exceed 1.6W. Proper heat sinking may be required for high-power applications.
Temperature:
- The junction temperature (TJ) should not exceed 150°C.
- Store the device within the temperature range of -55°C to 150°C.
Mounting and Handling:
- Handle the device with care to avoid damage to the leads and body.
- Ensure proper mounting to maintain thermal performance and mechanical integrity.
Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Protection:
- Use appropriate ESD protection measures during handling and assembly to prevent damage to the device.
