Instructions for Use

1. Handling Precautions:

   • Handle the module with care to avoid mechanical damage.
   • Avoid touching the terminals or the semiconductor surfaces directly to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD).

2. Mounting:

   • Ensure the mounting surface is flat, clean, and free from contaminants.
   • Apply a thin, even layer of thermal paste between the module and the heatsink.
   • Tighten the screws to the specified torque (20-30 Nm for M6 screws) to ensure good thermal contact.

3. Electrical Connections:

   • Connect the main terminals (C, E, G) according to the circuit diagram.
   • Ensure all connections are secure and free from loose wires or debris.
   • Use insulated tools to avoid short circuits.

4. Thermal Management:

   • Ensure adequate cooling to maintain the junction temperature within the operating range (-40°C to +150°C).
   • Monitor the temperature of the heatsink and adjust the cooling system if necessary.

5. Testing:

   • Before applying power, verify all connections and ensure the module is properly installed.
   • Perform a continuity test to check for any shorts or open circuits.
   • Gradually increase the power to the module while monitoring the performance and temperature.

6. Storage:

   • Store the module in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and corrosive environments.
   • If the module is not used for an extended period, it is recommended to store it in an anti-static bag.

7. Disposal:

   • Follow local regulations for the disposal of electronic components.
   • Recycle the module and its packaging materials where possible.
