Instructions for Using the BUH1015:
Supply Voltage (VCC):
- Ensure the supply voltage is within the range of -0.3V to 6.0V to avoid damage to the transistor.
Continuous Collector Current (IC):
- The maximum continuous collector current should not exceed 2.0A. For reliable operation, keep it below 1.5A.
Peak Collector Current (IC(peak)):
- The peak collector current can go up to 3.0A, but this should be for short durations only.
Base-Emitter Saturation Voltage (VBE(sat)):
- When the transistor is in saturation, the base-emitter voltage will typically be between 0.7V and 1.8V. Use this value to design your biasing circuit.
Collector-Emitter Saturation Voltage (VCE(sat)):
- The collector-emitter voltage in saturation is typically between 0.2V and 0.4V. This low voltage drop helps in efficient switching applications.
Storage Temperature Range (TSTG):
- Store the transistor in an environment where the temperature ranges from -55°C to 150°C to ensure its longevity.
Operating Temperature Range (TA):
- The operating temperature range is from -40°C to 125°C. Ensure that the ambient temperature does not exceed these limits during operation.
Power Dissipation (PTOT):
- The total power dissipation should not exceed 1.0W at an ambient temperature of 25°C. Proper heat sinking may be required for higher power applications.
Additional Notes:
- Always refer to the datasheet for the most accurate and detailed information.
- Ensure proper heat management, especially in high-power applications, to prevent thermal runaway.
- Use appropriate decoupling capacitors to stabilize the power supply and reduce noise.
