Instructions for Use:
Power Supply:
- Connect Vcc to the positive power supply (4.75V to 5.25V).
- Connect GND to the ground.
Enable Input (G):
- Set G to LOW to enable the encoder.
- Set G to HIGH to disable the encoder.
Input Lines (I0 to I7):
- Apply LOW to the input line that you want to encode.
- All other input lines should be set to HIGH or left floating.
Output Lines (Y0 to Y2):
- The encoder will generate a 3-bit binary code corresponding to the lowest active input line.
- The output is active low, so a LOW signal indicates the presence of an active input.
Strobe Output (GS):
- GS is active low when one of the input lines is active.
- GS can be used to indicate that a valid code is present on the outputs.
