Instructions for Use:

1. Mounting:

   • Ensure the diode is mounted on a heatsink if continuous operation at high forward currents is required.
   • Use thermal paste between the diode and heatsink to improve heat dissipation.

2. Electrical Connections:

   • Connect the anode to the positive side of the circuit and the cathode to the negative side.
   • Avoid reverse biasing the diode beyond its maximum reverse voltage (600V).

3. Surge Handling:

   • The diode can handle peak surge currents up to 200A, but ensure these surges are short and infrequent to avoid damage.

4. Thermal Management:

   • Monitor the junction temperature (Tj) to ensure it stays within the operating range (-55°C to +175°C).
   • Use appropriate cooling methods to maintain optimal performance.

5. Storage:

   • Store the diode in a dry, cool place with temperatures between -55°C and +150°C.

6. Handling:

   • Handle the diode with care to avoid mechanical stress or damage to the leads.
   • Use anti-static precautions to prevent electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage.

7. Testing:

   • Test the diode using a multimeter or diode tester to ensure it is functioning correctly before installation.
   • Check for proper forward and reverse characteristics.

8. Compliance:

   • Ensure the diode meets all relevant safety and compliance standards for your application.
