Instructions for Use:

  1. Power Supply:

    • Connect the VCC pin to a power supply within the range of 2.5 V to 5.5 V.
    • Ensure a stable power supply to avoid erratic behavior.
  2. Ground Connection:

    • Connect the GND pin to the ground of your circuit to provide a reference point.
  3. Output Connection:

    • The output is an open collector, so connect a pull-up resistor between the output pin and VCC.
    • The typical value for the pull-up resistor is 1 kΩ to 10 kΩ.
  4. Magnetic Field Application:

    • Apply a magnetic field perpendicular to the surface of the sensor to trigger the switch.
    • The switch will activate when the magnetic field strength exceeds the BOP threshold (35 Gauss typical).
    • The switch will deactivate when the magnetic field strength drops below the BRP threshold (20 Gauss typical).
  5. Temperature Considerations:

    • Ensure that the operating temperature remains within the specified range (-40°C to +85°C) to maintain reliable operation.
  6. Handling Precautions:

    • Handle the component with care to avoid static damage.
    • Store in a dry environment to prevent moisture damage.
  7. Testing:

    • Test the device in a controlled environment to ensure it meets the required specifications.
    • Use a multimeter to verify the output state (high or low) when applying and removing the magnetic field.
