Instructions for Use:

1. Mounting:

   • Ensure that the leads are bent to fit the PCB or breadboard spacing.
   • Solder the diode quickly to avoid overheating. The maximum soldering temperature is 260°C for 10 seconds.

2. Circuit Design:

   • Connect the cathode (shorter lead or banded end) to the positive side of the circuit.
   • Connect the anode (longer lead) to the negative side of the circuit.
   • Use a series resistor to limit the current through the diode to a safe level, typically around 10% to 20% of the maximum zener current (Izmax).

3. Heat Dissipation:

   • Ensure adequate heat dissipation if operating near the maximum power rating.
   • Consider using a heatsink if continuous operation at high power is required.

4. Storage:

   • Store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
   • Handle with care to avoid mechanical damage to the glass body.

5. Testing:

   • Test the diode using a multimeter set to the diode test mode.
   • The diode should show a low resistance in one direction and a high resistance in the reverse direction.

6. Safety:

   • Do not exceed the maximum ratings specified in the table.
   • Use appropriate fuses or current-limiting resistors to protect the circuit from overcurrent conditions.
