Instructions for Use:

1. Mounting:

   • Ensure the PCB layout provides adequate thermal dissipation.
   • Soldering temperature should not exceed 260°C for more than 10 seconds.
   • Avoid mechanical stress on the leads during soldering.

2. Electrical Connections:

   • Connect the cathode (K) and anode (A) terminals correctly to avoid reverse bias damage.
   • Ensure the input voltage does not exceed the maximum rated voltage (1000V).

3. Thermal Management:

   • Use a heatsink if operating at or near the maximum current to maintain junction temperature within safe limits.
   • Monitor the ambient temperature to ensure it remains within the specified range.

4. Surge Protection:

   • The diode can handle short-term surge currents up to 20A. For higher surge currents, consider using additional protection circuits.

5. Storage:

   • Store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and corrosive environments.
   • Handle with care to prevent physical damage.

6. Testing:

   • Before final assembly, test the diode for proper functionality using a multimeter or diode tester.
   • Ensure all connections are secure and free from shorts or open circuits.
