Instructions for Use:

  1. Power Supply:

    • Connect the VDD pin to a stable power supply within the specified range (2.7V to 5.25V).
    • Connect the GND pin to the system ground.
  2. Analog Inputs:

    • Connect the analog signals to the differential input pairs (AIN0 to AIN7).
    • Ensure the input voltages do not exceed the specified range (0V to VREF).
  3. Reference Voltage:

    • Connect the reference voltage (VREF) to a stable reference source.
    • The reference voltage should be within the range of 2.5V to 5V.
  4. Digital Interface:

    • Connect the SPI interface pins (SDI, SDO, SCLK) to the corresponding pins on your microcontroller or digital system.
    • Configure the SPI settings according to the datasheet specifications.
  5. Grounding:

    • Ensure proper grounding to minimize noise and interference.
    • Use a star grounding technique if multiple grounds are involved.
  6. Decoupling Capacitors:

    • Place decoupling capacitors (0.1 μF and 10 μF) close to the VDD and GND pins to filter out high-frequency noise.
  7. Configuration:

    • Use the configuration registers to set up the ADC according to your application requirements (e.g., channel selection, conversion mode).
  8. Data Acquisition:

    • Initiate conversions by writing to the control register.
    • Read the converted data from the output register using the SPI interface.
  9. Handling:

    • Handle the device with care to avoid static discharge.
    • Follow ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions during handling and installation.
  10. Storage:

    • Store the device in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight and moisture.
