Instructions for Use:
Power Supply:
- Connect VDD to the power supply within the specified range (4.5V to 36V).
- Connect VLOGIC to the logic supply within the specified range (1.8V to 5.5V).
Output Configuration:
- Ensure the continuous output current does not exceed 1.2A per channel without a heatsink, and 2.5A with a heatsink.
- Do not exceed the peak output current of 4.5A.
Thermal Management:
- Monitor the device temperature to avoid exceeding the thermal shutdown temperature of 150°C.
- Use a heatsink if operating at high currents or in high ambient temperatures.
Under-Voltage Lockout:
- The device will shut down if VDD drops below 3.2V and restart when it rises above 3.6V.
Logic Inputs:
- Ensure logic inputs are within the specified levels (VIH > 0.7V and VIL < 0.3V).
PWM Control:
- Use a PWM frequency between 200kHz and 1000kHz for optimal performance.
Protection Features:
- The device includes short-circuit protection and automatic recovery.
- Thermal shutdown is activated at 150°C with a hysteresis of 15°C.
Operating and Storage Conditions:
