Instructions for Use:

  1. Power Supply:

    • Connect VCC to the power supply within the range of 1.7V to 5.5V.
    • Connect GND to the ground.
  2. I2C Communication:

    • Connect SDA (Serial Data) and SCL (Serial Clock) to the I2C bus lines.
    • Ensure pull-up resistors are used on SDA and SCL lines.
    • Set the device address using the A0, A1, and A2 pins.
  3. SPI Communication:

    • Connect MISO (Master In Slave Out), MOSI (Master Out Slave In), SCK (Serial Clock), and CS (Chip Select) to the SPI bus lines.
    • Set CS low to select the device for communication.
  4. Write Protect:

    • Enable software write protect by writing to the appropriate register.
    • Enable hardware write protect by connecting WP pin to VCC or GND as needed.
  5. Write Operations:

    • Ensure the device is not write-protected before initiating a write operation.
    • Wait for the write cycle time (5ms) to complete before performing another write or read operation.
  6. Read Operations:

    • Initiate a read operation by selecting the device and specifying the memory address.
    • Data can be read from the device once the address is set.
  7. Storage and Handling:

    • Store the device in a dry, cool place to avoid moisture damage.
    • Handle with care to prevent static discharge, which can damage the device.
