Instructions for Use:
Power Supply:
- Connect the Vcc pin to a power supply within the specified voltage range (3.3V to 5V).
- Connect the GND pin to the ground of your power supply.
Signal Connection:
- Connect the OUT pin to the input of your microcontroller or digital circuit.
- The sensor will output a high (5V) signal when an object is detected and a low (0V) signal when no object is detected.
Mounting:
- Ensure the sensor is securely mounted on a flat surface using the provided mounting holes or adhesive.
- Avoid placing the sensor in areas with high electromagnetic interference.
Calibration:
- If necessary, adjust the sensitivity of the sensor using the onboard potentiometer.
- Turn the potentiometer clockwise to increase sensitivity and counterclockwise to decrease sensitivity.
Testing:
- Power on the sensor and bring an object within the detection range.
- Verify that the output signal changes state as expected.
Maintenance:
- Regularly clean the sensor lens to ensure optimal performance.
- Avoid exposing the sensor to extreme temperatures or humidity.
Troubleshooting:
- If the sensor does not respond, check the power connections and ensure the supply voltage is within the specified range.
- If the output signal is erratic, check for any interference or loose connections.
