Instructions for Use:

  1. Power Supply:

    • Connect the Vcc pin to a power supply within the specified voltage range (3.3V to 5V).
    • Connect the GND pin to the ground of your power supply.
  2. Signal Connection:

    • Connect the OUT pin to the input of your microcontroller or digital circuit.
    • The sensor will output a high (5V) signal when an object is detected and a low (0V) signal when no object is detected.
  3. Mounting:

    • Ensure the sensor is securely mounted on a flat surface using the provided mounting holes or adhesive.
    • Avoid placing the sensor in areas with high electromagnetic interference.
  4. Calibration:

    • If necessary, adjust the sensitivity of the sensor using the onboard potentiometer.
    • Turn the potentiometer clockwise to increase sensitivity and counterclockwise to decrease sensitivity.
  5. Testing:

    • Power on the sensor and bring an object within the detection range.
    • Verify that the output signal changes state as expected.
  6. Maintenance:

    • Regularly clean the sensor lens to ensure optimal performance.
    • Avoid exposing the sensor to extreme temperatures or humidity.
  7. Troubleshooting:

    • If the sensor does not respond, check the power connections and ensure the supply voltage is within the specified range.
    • If the output signal is erratic, check for any interference or loose connections.
