Instructions for Use:

  1. Mounting:

    • Ensure proper heat sinking if operating at high currents or in high ambient temperatures.
    • Use a flat surface for mounting to ensure good thermal contact.
  2. Soldering:

    • Preheat the PCB to 100°C to 150°C before soldering.
    • Soldering temperature should not exceed 260°C.
    • Soldering time should not exceed 10 seconds per connection.
  3. Electrical Connections:

    • Connect the anode (A) to the positive side of the circuit.
    • Connect the cathode (K) to the negative side of the circuit.
    • Ensure that the reverse voltage does not exceed 100V to avoid breakdown.
  4. Handling:

    • Handle with care to avoid mechanical damage.
    • Use anti-static precautions to prevent ESD damage.
  5. Storage:

    • Store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
    • Keep in original packaging until ready to use.
  6. Testing:

    • Test the diode using a multimeter to ensure it is functioning correctly.
    • Measure the forward voltage drop (VF) and ensure it is within the typical range.
  7. Safety:

    • Do not exceed the maximum ratings specified in the table.
    • Ensure adequate ventilation when soldering to avoid inhaling fumes.
