Instructions for Use:

  1. Power Supply:

    • Ensure the supply voltage (VCC) is within the range of 2.7V to 5.5V.
    • Connect the VCC pin to the positive power supply and GND to the ground.
  2. Output Configuration:

    • The output is open-drain, requiring a pull-up resistor to a suitable voltage level (typically VCC).
    • The output will be high (VOH) when no magnetic field is detected and low (VOL) when a magnetic field is detected.
  3. Magnetic Sensitivity:

    • The device has a sensitivity range from 1.3 mV/Gauss to 2.7 mV/Gauss. Adjust the magnetic field strength accordingly to ensure reliable operation.
  4. Temperature Considerations:

    • Operate the device within the temperature range of -40°C to 150°C to ensure proper performance.
    • Store the device within the storage temperature range of -65°C to 150°C.
  5. Quiescent Current:

    • The quiescent current (IQ) is typically 10 μA and can go up to 20 μA. This should be considered in low-power applications.
  6. Handling and Installation:

    • Handle the device with care to avoid static damage.
    • Ensure proper soldering and mounting to prevent mechanical stress on the pins.
  7. Testing and Troubleshooting:

    • Test the device by applying a known magnetic field and verifying the output state.
    • If the output does not change as expected, check the power supply, connections, and magnetic field strength.
