Instructions for Use:

1. Handling:

   • Handle with care to avoid mechanical damage.
   • Use appropriate ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protection when handling.

2. Mounting:

   • Ensure the PCB is clean and free from contaminants.
   • Place the resistor on the designated pad using a pick-and-place machine or manual placement.
   • Apply solder paste or flux to ensure good adhesion.
   • Reflow solder according to the recommended temperature profile:
     • Preheat: 120°C to 150°C for 60 to 90 seconds.
     • Soak: 150°C to 180°C for 60 to 90 seconds.
     • Peak: 220°C to 240°C for 10 to 20 seconds.
     • Cooling: Cool down to below 100°C within 60 seconds.

3. Storage:

   • Store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
   • Use within 6 months of receipt for optimal performance.

4. Testing:

   • After mounting, verify the resistance value using a multimeter.
   • Check for any visual defects such as cracks or discoloration.

5. Soldering:

   • Avoid excessive heat and prolonged soldering times to prevent damage.
   • Use a soldering iron with a temperature control to maintain the recommended temperature range.

6. Inspection:

   • Inspect the solder joints for proper wetting and absence of voids or cold solder joints.
   • Ensure the resistor is securely attached to the PCB.

7. Disposal:

   • Dispose of any defective components according to local environmental regulations.
