Instructions for Use

  1. Input Voltage:

    • Ensure the input voltage is within the specified range (4.5V to 40V).
    • Use appropriate input filtering capacitors to reduce noise and ripple.
  2. Output Voltage:

    • Set the output voltage using external resistors if adjustable.
    • Verify the output voltage with a multimeter before connecting the load.
  3. Output Current:

    • For high current applications, ensure proper heat dissipation.
  4. Quiescent Current:

    • The quiescent current is relatively low (30μA to 60μA), making it suitable for battery-powered applications.

    • The dropout voltage is between 0.7V and 1.2V. Ensure the input voltage is always higher than the output voltage by this amount.
  6. Efficiency:
