Instructions for KT0803

  1. Power Supply:

    • Connect the Vcc pin to a power supply within the range of 2.7V to 5.5V.
    • Ensure the power supply is stable and free from significant ripple.
  2. Ground Connection:

    • Connect the GND pin to the common ground of the system.
  3. Input Signal:

    • Connect the input signal to the IN+ and IN- pins. The input sensitivity is typically 100mV for full output.
    • Use a differential input signal for optimal performance.
  4. Output Configuration:

    • Connect the speaker or load to the OUT+ and OUT- pins.
    • Ensure the load impedance is appropriate for the output power (e.g., 8Ω).
  5. Shutdown Mode:

    • To enter shutdown mode, pull the SD pin low. The quiescent current will drop to approximately 0.1μA.
    • To resume normal operation, pull the SD pin high.
  6. Thermal Management:

    • Ensure adequate heat dissipation if operating at high power levels or in high ambient temperatures.
    • Consider using a heatsink if necessary.
  7. PCB Layout:

    • Keep the power supply lines short and use decoupling capacitors (e.g., 10μF and 0.1μF) close to the Vcc and GND pins to reduce noise.
    • Use a ground plane to minimize interference and improve stability.
  8. Storage and Handling:

    • Store the device in a dry environment within the specified storage temperature range.
    • Handle with care to avoid damage from electrostatic discharge (ESD).
  9. Testing:

    • Before finalizing the design, test the device under various conditions to ensure it meets the required specifications.
    • Verify the output quality and performance parameters such as SNR and THD+N.
