Instructions for Use:
Power Supply:
- Ensure the supply voltage is within the specified range (2.7V to 3.6V).
- Use a stable power source to avoid voltage fluctuations that could affect performance.
Standby Mode:
- To enter standby mode, set the chip select (CS) pin high.
- The current consumption in standby mode is very low (1-5 μA).
Active Mode:
- Set the chip select (CS) pin low to enter active mode.
- The active current consumption is typically 10-20 mA.
Addressing and Data Access:
- Provide the correct address to the address lines (A0-A18) before accessing data.
- The access time is 70 ns, which is the time from when the address is valid to when the data is available on the data lines (D0-D7).
Programming:
- To program a page (256 bytes), ensure the write enable (WE) pin is low and the write protect (WP) pin is high.
- The typical page write time is 200 μs.
Erasing:
- To erase a sector (64 Kbytes), use the appropriate command sequence and ensure the write enable (WE) pin is low and the write protect (WP) pin is high.
- The typical sector erase time is 200 ms.
- To erase the entire chip, use the chip erase command. The typical chip erase time is 4 seconds.
Data Retention:
- The device guarantees data retention for at least 10 years at 85°C.
Temperature Considerations:
- Operate the device within the temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
- Store the device within the temperature range of -65°C to 150°C.
Handling and Storage:
- Handle the device with care to avoid electrostatic discharge (ESD) damage.
- Store the device in a dry environment to prevent moisture damage.
Package:
- The device is available in a TSOP-48 package. Ensure proper handling and soldering techniques to avoid damage during assembly.
