Instructions for Use:

1. Mounting:

   • Ensure the device is mounted on a heatsink if continuous operation at high current or in high ambient temperatures is expected.
   • Use thermal compound between the device and heatsink to improve heat dissipation.

2. Electrical Connections:

   • Connect the anode and cathode terminals correctly to avoid reverse polarity, which can lead to device failure.
   • Use appropriate wire gauge to handle the maximum current rating.

3. Thermal Management:

   • Monitor the junction temperature to ensure it does not exceed the maximum rated temperature.
   • If operating in high ambient temperatures, consider additional cooling methods such as forced air or liquid cooling.

4. Surge Handling:

   • The device can handle non-repetitive surge currents up to 30A for 10ms at 25°C. Ensure that any surge conditions are within these limits to prevent damage.

5. Storage:

   • Store the device in a dry, cool environment within the storage temperature range to prevent degradation.

6. Handling:

   • Handle with care to avoid mechanical stress, which can damage the device.
   • Use ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protection when handling to prevent damage from static electricity.

7. Testing:

   • Before installing the device in a circuit, test its parameters using a multimeter or other suitable testing equipment to ensure it meets the specified values.

8. Compliance:

   • Ensure that the device is used in compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards.
