Instructions for Use:

1. Mounting:

   • Ensure that the diode is mounted with proper orientation to avoid reverse polarity.
   • Use appropriate heat sinks if operating at high temperatures or under high current conditions.

2. Soldering:

   • Preheat the PCB to reduce thermal shock.
   • Soldering temperature should not exceed 260°C for more than 10 seconds.
   • Allow the diode to cool naturally after soldering.

3. Handling:

   • Handle the diode with care to avoid mechanical stress.
   • Store in a dry, cool place to prevent moisture damage.

4. Electrical Connections:

   • Connect the cathode (K) to the positive side of the circuit and the anode (A) to the negative side.
   • Ensure that the maximum reverse standoff voltage (Vrwm) is not exceeded during normal operation.

5. Thermal Management:

   • Monitor the junction temperature (Tj) to ensure it remains within the specified range.
   • Use adequate cooling methods if the diode will be subjected to high power dissipation.

6. Testing:

   • Test the diode using a multimeter or a diode tester to ensure proper functionality.
   • Check for continuity and reverse leakage current to confirm the diode is not damaged.

7. Environmental Considerations:

   • The diode is RoHS compliant and suitable for use in environmentally conscious designs.
   • Follow local regulations for disposal and recycling.
