Instructions for Use

  1. Power Supply:

    • Connect the VDD pin to the power supply, ensuring it is within the range of 2.0V to 5.5V.
    • The GND pin must be connected to the ground.
  2. Enable/Shutdown:

    • To enable the device, apply a voltage greater than 1.8V to the EN pin.
    • To shut down the device, apply a voltage greater than 1.8V to the SHDN pin.
  3. Output Configuration:

    • The output voltage (VOUT) can be adjusted by connecting appropriate external components (e.g., resistors, capacitors).
    • Ensure the output current does not exceed 200mA continuously.
  4. Thermal Management:

    • Monitor the operating temperature to avoid exceeding 150°C, which could trigger thermal shutdown.
    • Use adequate heatsinking if necessary.
  5. Storage:

    • Store the device in an environment with temperatures between -40°C and 85°C.
  6. Ripple and Noise:

    • To minimize output ripple, use a low ESR capacitor on the output.
    • Ensure the load current does not cause excessive ripple, which should be within 30mVp-p to 50mVp-p at 1kHz.
  7. Standby Mode:

    • When the device is in standby mode, the current consumption is minimized to 0.1μA to 1μA.
  8. Handling:

    • Handle the device with care to avoid static damage.
    • Follow standard ESD protection guidelines during handling and assembly.
