Instructions for Use
Power Supply:
- Connect the VDD pin to the power supply, ensuring it is within the range of 2.0V to 5.5V.
- The GND pin must be connected to the ground.
Enable/Shutdown:
- To enable the device, apply a voltage greater than 1.8V to the EN pin.
- To shut down the device, apply a voltage greater than 1.8V to the SHDN pin.
Output Configuration:
- The output voltage (VOUT) can be adjusted by connecting appropriate external components (e.g., resistors, capacitors).
- Ensure the output current does not exceed 200mA continuously.
Thermal Management:
- Monitor the operating temperature to avoid exceeding 150°C, which could trigger thermal shutdown.
- Use adequate heatsinking if necessary.
Storage:
- Store the device in an environment with temperatures between -40°C and 85°C.
Ripple and Noise:
- To minimize output ripple, use a low ESR capacitor on the output.
- Ensure the load current does not cause excessive ripple, which should be within 30mVp-p to 50mVp-p at 1kHz.
Standby Mode:
- When the device is in standby mode, the current consumption is minimized to 0.1μA to 1μA.
Handling:
- Handle the device with care to avoid static damage.
- Follow standard ESD protection guidelines during handling and assembly.
