Instructions for Use:

1. Voltage Ratings:

   • Ensure that the drain-source voltage (V_DS) does not exceed -100V or go below -60V.
   • The gate-source voltage (V_GS) should be within -30V to +15V.

2. Current Ratings:

   • The continuous drain current (I_D) should not exceed 4.8A.
   • For pulse applications, the peak drain current (I_Dpeak) can be up to 8A.

3. Power Dissipation:

   • The maximum power dissipation (P_TOT) is 100W. Ensure adequate heat sinking to manage thermal conditions.

4. Temperature Considerations:

   • The junction temperature (T_J) must remain between -55°C and 175°C.
   • The storage temperature (T_STG) range is from -55°C to 150°C.

5. Thermal Management:

   • The thermal resistance from the junction to the case (R_θJC) is 0.75 K/W. Use appropriate heat sinks or cooling methods to maintain the junction temperature within safe limits.

6. Handling and Storage:

   • Handle the device with care to avoid damage to the leads and body.
   • Store the device in a dry, cool environment within the specified storage temperature range.

7. Mounting:

   • Follow the recommended mounting procedures to ensure proper electrical and thermal connections.
   • Use a torque wrench to apply the correct torque to the mounting screws to avoid over-tightening or under-tightening.

8. Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Protection:

   • Use ESD protection measures when handling the device to prevent damage from static electricity.

9. Testing:

   • Perform initial testing at low voltages and currents to verify proper operation before applying full ratings.

10. Compliance:

    • Ensure that the device is used in compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards.
