Instructions for Use:

  1. Forward Voltage (VF):

    • Ensure that the forward voltage does not exceed 1.6V at a forward current of 20mA to avoid damaging the device.
  2. Peak Forward Current (IF(P)):

    • The peak forward current should not exceed 30mA for pulses lasting up to 10ms to prevent overheating.
  3. Continuous Forward Current (IF):

    • The continuous forward current should be limited to 20mA to ensure reliable operation.
  4. Reverse Voltage (VR):

    • The reverse voltage should not exceed 5V to avoid breakdown.
  5. Output Collector-Emitter Voltage (VCE(OFF)):

    • When the device is off, the collector-emitter voltage should not exceed 0.7V.
  6. Output Leakage Current (ICEO):

    • The leakage current when the device is off should be less than 1μA to ensure minimal interference.
  7. Output Collector-Emitter Saturation Voltage (VCE(SAT)):

    • When the device is on, the saturation voltage should be between 0.4V and 0.6V to ensure efficient operation.
  8. Output Collector Current (IC):

    • The output collector current should not exceed 5mA to avoid overloading the device.
  9. Isolation Voltage (VIORM):

    • The isolation voltage between the input and output should not exceed 500Vrms for 1 minute at 50/60Hz to maintain safety.
  10. Storage Temperature (TSTG):

    • Store the device in a temperature range of -40°C to 110°C to prevent damage.
  11. Operating Temperature (TA):

    • Operate the device within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C to ensure reliable performance.

Handling Precautions:

  • ESD Protection: Handle the device with care to avoid electrostatic discharge (ESD) which can damage the internal components.
  • Soldering Temperature: Do not exceed the maximum soldering temperature of 260°C for more than 10 seconds to prevent thermal damage.
  • Mounting: Ensure proper mounting to avoid mechanical stress on the leads and body of the device.
