Instructions for TLP624-2BV
Forward Voltage (VF):
- Ensure that the forward voltage does not exceed 1.8V when the forward current is 10 mA to avoid damaging the device.
Reverse Breakdown Voltage (VBR):
- The device should not be subjected to reverse voltages greater than 50V to prevent breakdown.
Forward Current (IF):
- The continuous forward current should not exceed 30 mA to ensure reliable operation.
Peak Forward Current (IF(peak)):
- The peak forward current can reach up to 100 mA but should be limited to pulses of 1 ms duration with a duty cycle of 1%.
Output Voltage (VO):
- The output voltage should be kept below 1.5V when the output current is 10 mA to maintain proper functionality.
Output Current (IO):
- The maximum output current should not exceed 10 mA to avoid overheating or damage.
Isolation Voltage (VI):
- The isolation voltage between input and output is rated at 2500 Vrms for 1 minute at 50/60 Hz. Ensure this rating is not exceeded to maintain electrical isolation.
Operating Temperature (TOP):
- The device is designed to operate within a temperature range of -40°C to 110°C. Avoid operating outside this range to prevent performance degradation or failure.
Storage Temperature (TSTG):
- Store the device in an environment where the temperature ranges from -40°C to 125°C to ensure long-term reliability.
Handling and Installation:
- Handle the device with care to avoid mechanical stress or damage.
- Ensure proper soldering techniques are used during installation to prevent thermal shock and ensure good electrical connections.
Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) Protection:
- Use appropriate ESD protection measures when handling the device to prevent damage from static electricity.
Compliance and Standards:
- Verify that the device meets all relevant safety and compliance standards for your application.
