Instructions for Use:
Supply Voltage (VDD):
- Ensure the supply voltage is within the range of 10V to 20V to avoid damage to the device.
High-Side Floating Voltage (VFLOAT):
- The high-side floating voltage can go up to 600V, allowing the IR2132J to be used in high-voltage applications.
Input Voltage:
- The input voltage for a high state (VIH) should be at least 2V.
- The input voltage for a low state (VIL) should not exceed 0.8V.
Output Voltage:
- The output voltage (high state, VOH) is typically 13.5V when VDD is 15V and the load current (IOL) is 1mA.
- The output voltage (low state, VOL) is typically 0.4V under similar conditions.
Propagation Delay:
- The propagation delay time (td) is typically 60ns, and the propagation delay skew (tskew) is typically 20ns. These values are measured with VDD = 15V, VIN = 5V, RL = 1kΩ, and CL = 10pF.
Temperature Range:
- The operating temperature range (TA) is from -40°C to 125°C.
- The storage temperature range (TSTG) is from -65°C to 150°C.
Handling and Storage:
- Store the device in a dry, cool place to prevent moisture damage.
- Handle the device with care to avoid static discharge, which can damage sensitive components.
Circuit Design:
- Ensure proper decoupling capacitors are placed close to the power supply pins to stabilize the supply voltage.
- Use appropriate gate resistors to control the switching speed and reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI).
Safety:
- Always follow safety guidelines when working with high voltages to prevent injury or damage to equipment.
