Instructions for Use

  1. Installation:

    • Ensure that the input voltage is within the specified range (4.5V to 5.5V DC).
    • Connect the input power supply to the designated input terminals.
    • Connect the load to the output terminals.
  2. Mounting:

    • For surface mount, solder the component directly to the PCB following the recommended footprint.
    • For through-hole mounting, insert the component into the PCB and solder the leads securely.
  3. Operation:

    • Power on the device and verify that the output voltage is stable at 5V DC.
    • Monitor the operating temperature to ensure it stays within the specified range (-40°C to +85°C).
  4. Protection:

    • The SRV05-4 includes overvoltage, overcurrent, and short-circuit protection. In the event of a fault, the device will automatically shut down to prevent damage.
  5. Storage:

    • Store the device in a dry, cool environment with temperatures between -55°C and +125°C.
  6. Maintenance:

    • Regularly inspect the connections and solder joints for any signs of wear or damage.
    • If the device is not in use for an extended period, store it in a protective case or bag to prevent dust and moisture accumulation.
  7. Troubleshooting:

    • If the output voltage is not stable, check the input voltage and ensure it is within the specified range.
    • If the device overheats, reduce the load or improve cooling conditions.
    • If the device fails to start, check for any short circuits or open circuits in the connections.
