Instructions for Use:

  1. Forward Current (IF):

    • Ensure the forward current does not exceed 40 mA continuously.
    • For pulse applications, do not exceed 100 mA with a pulse width ≤ 1 ms and a duty cycle ≤ 2%.
  2. Reverse Voltage (VR):

    • The maximum reverse voltage should not exceed 5 V.
  3. Forward Voltage (VF):

    • Measure the forward voltage at a current of 20 mA. Typical values range from 1.2 to 1.5 V.
  4. Reverse Current (IR):

    • Ensure the reverse current does not exceed 100 nA when the reverse voltage is 5 V.
  5. Temperature:

    • Store the device within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
    • Operate the device within the same temperature range (-40°C to 85°C).
  6. Wavelength (λ):

    • The emitted light wavelength is between 630 nm and 650 nm at a forward current of 20 mA.
  7. Viewing Angle (θ):

    • The typical viewing angle is 20° to 30°.

Handling and Storage:

  • Avoid exposing the device to excessive humidity and direct sunlight.
  • Handle with care to avoid mechanical damage.
  • Store in a dry, cool place away from corrosive substances.

Mounting:

  • Ensure proper soldering techniques to avoid overheating.
  • Use a heat sink if necessary to manage thermal dissipation.

Testing:

  • Use appropriate test equipment to measure parameters accurately.
  • Follow safety guidelines to prevent electrical shock or damage to the device.
