Instructions for Use:
Mounting:
- Ensure that the component is mounted with sufficient clearance to allow for heat dissipation.
- Avoid mechanical stress on the leads during soldering.
Soldering:
- Use a temperature-controlled soldering iron not exceeding 300°C.
- Soldering time should not exceed 10 seconds per joint.
- Allow the component to cool naturally after soldering.
Electrical Connections:
- Connect the anode (A) to the positive side of the circuit.
- Connect the cathode (K) to the negative side of the circuit.
- Ensure that the maximum zener current (Izmax) is not exceeded to avoid damage.
Operating Conditions:
- Operate the device within the specified operating temperature range (-65°C to 150°C).
- Do not exceed the maximum power dissipation (500 mW).
Storage:
- Store the component in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
- Keep the component in its original packaging until ready for use to prevent static damage.
Handling:
- Handle the component with care to avoid physical damage.
- Use appropriate ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions to prevent damage from static electricity.
Testing:
- Test the component using a multimeter set to the diode test mode to verify proper operation.
- Measure the zener voltage at the specified test current to ensure it falls within the tolerance range.
Disposal:
- Dispose of the component in accordance with local regulations for electronic waste.
