Instructions for Use:
Power Supply:
- Ensure the input voltage (Vin) is within the specified range of 12 to 24 V.
- The output voltage (Vout) should be maintained at 5 V for optimal performance.
Current Handling:
- The continuous drain current (ID) should not exceed 33 A at a case temperature (TC) of 25°C.
- For peak conditions, the drain current (IDpeak) can reach up to 66 A for short durations (10 μs) at the same case temperature.
Gate Control:
- Apply a gate-source voltage (VGS) of at least 2.0 V to turn on the device, with a typical threshold of 2.5 V.
- For minimum on-state resistance, use a gate-source voltage of 10 V.
Thermal Management:
- The total power dissipation (PTOT) should not exceed 125 W at a case temperature of 25°C.
- Ensure proper heat sinking to keep the junction temperature (TJ) below 175°C.
- Store the device in an environment where the temperature ranges from -55°C to 150°C.
Handling and Storage:
- Handle the device with care to avoid static damage.
- Store the device in a dry, cool place within the specified storage temperature range.
Safety Precautions:
- Always follow proper electrical safety guidelines when working with high currents and voltages.
- Ensure all connections are secure and insulated to prevent short circuits.
