Instructions for Use:
Power Supply Connection:
- Connect the input voltage to the "IN" pin.
- Connect the output voltage to the "OUT" pin.
- Ensure the ground is connected to the "GND" pin.
Capacitor Requirements:
- Place a 0.33 μF capacitor between the input and ground to stabilize the input voltage.
- Place a 0.1 μF capacitor between the output and ground to stabilize the output voltage.
Heat Dissipation:
- For high current applications, ensure adequate heat sinking to prevent overheating.
- The thermal resistance (θJA) should be considered when designing the heat sink.
Short-Circuit Protection:
- The regulator has built-in short-circuit protection, but it is recommended to use external fuses or circuit breakers for additional safety.
Thermal Shutdown:
- The device will automatically shut down if the temperature exceeds the safe operating range to prevent damage.
Mounting:
