Instructions for Use
Circuit Design:
- Ensure that the input voltage is within the specified range (2.7V to 5.5V).
- Connect the input capacitor (10μF) close to the VIN pin to filter out noise.
- Connect the output capacitor (10μF) close to the VOUT pin to stabilize the output.
Output Voltage Adjustment:
- The output voltage can be adjusted using external resistors R1 and R2 connected to the FB (Feedback) pin.
- Use the formula ( V_ = V_ left(1 + fracright) ), where ( V_ = 0.8V ).
Inductor Selection:
- Choose an inductor with a value between 1μH and 4.7μH to ensure stable operation.
- Ensure the inductor can handle the maximum current (1A).
Thermal Management:
- Ensure adequate heat dissipation by providing a thermal pad or heat sink if operating at high temperatures or under heavy load conditions.
Shutdown Mode:
- To enter shutdown mode, pull the SHDN pin low. This will reduce the current consumption to 0.1μA.
- To resume operation, pull the SHDN pin high.
PCB Layout:
- Keep the PCB traces short and wide to minimize parasitic inductance and resistance.
- Place the input and output capacitors as close as possible to the respective pins.
Handling Precautions:
- Handle the device with care to avoid static damage.
- Follow standard ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions during handling and assembly.
