Instructions for Use:
Mounting:
- Ensure proper heat sinking if operating near maximum power dissipation.
- Avoid mechanical stress on the leads, which can cause damage to the diode.
Soldering:
- Use a soldering iron with a temperature not exceeding 350°C.
- Soldering time should not exceed 10 seconds per connection.
- Allow the diode to cool down before handling.
Electrical Connections:
- Connect the cathode (shorter lead or marked side) to the positive voltage source.
- Connect the anode (longer lead) to the circuit ground or negative voltage source.
Handling:
- Handle the diode by the body, not the leads, to avoid damage.

- Use a multimeter to test the diode. In forward bias, it should show a low resistance, and in reverse bias, it should show high resistance.
