Instructions:

1. Mounting:

   • Ensure that the diode is mounted with proper heat dissipation to prevent overheating.
   • Use a heatsink if the application involves high current or prolonged operation.

2. Polarity:

   • Pay attention to the polarity of the diode. The cathode (marked band) should be connected to the positive side of the circuit, and the anode to the negative side for reverse bias operation.

3. Voltage Regulation:

   • The diode should be used in a circuit where the input voltage is higher than the Zener voltage (4.3V) to ensure proper regulation.
   • Use a series resistor to limit the current through the diode to within the maximum current rating (15mA).

4. Storage:

   • Store the diode in a dry, cool place to avoid moisture damage.
   • Handle with care to avoid mechanical stress which can affect performance.

5. Testing:

   • Test the diode using a multimeter set to the diode test mode to ensure it is functioning correctly before installation.
   • Check for continuity and proper Zener breakdown voltage.

6. Safety:

   • Do not exceed the maximum power dissipation (200mW) to avoid thermal runaway and potential failure.
   • Ensure the operating temperature remains within the specified range (-65°C to 150°C).
