Instructions for Use:
Forward Voltage (Vf):
- Ensure that the forward voltage applied to the diode does not exceed the maximum specified value of 2.2V to avoid damage.
Reverse Breakdown Voltage (Vr):
- The diode should not be subjected to reverse voltages greater than 100V to prevent breakdown and potential failure.
Continuous Forward Current (If):
- The continuous forward current should not exceed 50mA. For reliable operation, it is recommended to keep the current below 30mA.
Peak Forward Current (Ifsm):
- The peak forward current can be up to 100mA but should only be applied for very short durations to avoid overheating.
Operating Temperature (Topr):
- The diode is designed to operate within a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. Ensure that the ambient temperature does not exceed these limits.
Storage Temperature (Tstg):
- When storing the diode, ensure that the temperature remains between -65°C and 150°C to maintain its integrity.
Handling Precautions:
- Handle the diode with care to avoid mechanical stress or damage.
- Use appropriate ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protection when handling to prevent damage from static electricity.
Mounting:
- Ensure proper mounting and soldering techniques to avoid thermal and mechanical stress on the diode.
- Allow adequate space for heat dissipation if the diode will be operating at high currents or temperatures.
Testing:
- Before using the diode in a circuit, test it to ensure it meets the specified parameters. Use a multimeter or a dedicated diode tester for this purpose.
Compliance:
- Ensure that the diode complies with all relevant safety and regulatory standards for the intended application.
