Instructions for Use:

  1. Forward Voltage (Vf):

    • Ensure that the forward voltage applied to the diode does not exceed the maximum specified value of 2.2V to avoid damage.
  2. Reverse Breakdown Voltage (Vr):

    • The diode should not be subjected to reverse voltages greater than 100V to prevent breakdown and potential failure.
  3. Continuous Forward Current (If):

    • The continuous forward current should not exceed 50mA. For reliable operation, it is recommended to keep the current below 30mA.
  4. Peak Forward Current (Ifsm):

    • The peak forward current can be up to 100mA but should only be applied for very short durations to avoid overheating.
  5. Operating Temperature (Topr):

    • The diode is designed to operate within a temperature range of -40°C to 125°C. Ensure that the ambient temperature does not exceed these limits.
  6. Storage Temperature (Tstg):

    • When storing the diode, ensure that the temperature remains between -65°C and 150°C to maintain its integrity.
  7. Handling Precautions:

    • Handle the diode with care to avoid mechanical stress or damage.
    • Use appropriate ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) protection when handling to prevent damage from static electricity.
  8. Mounting:

    • Ensure proper mounting and soldering techniques to avoid thermal and mechanical stress on the diode.
    • Allow adequate space for heat dissipation if the diode will be operating at high currents or temperatures.
  9. Testing:

    • Before using the diode in a circuit, test it to ensure it meets the specified parameters. Use a multimeter or a dedicated diode tester for this purpose.
  10. Compliance:

    • Ensure that the diode complies with all relevant safety and regulatory standards for the intended application.
