Instructions for Use:

  1. Handling Precautions:

  2. Soldering:

    • Preheat the PCB to 100°C to 150°C before soldering.
    • Soldering temperature should not exceed 300°C.
    • Soldering time should be limited to 10 seconds per joint.
    • Allow the diode to cool naturally after soldering.
  3. Storage:

    • Store in a dry, cool place away from direct sunlight.
    • Keep in original packaging until ready for use.
  4. Electrical Connections:

    • Ensure correct polarity when connecting the diode.
    • The cathode (K) is marked with a band on the diode body.
    • The anode (A) is the other lead.
  5. Thermal Management:

    • If operating near the maximum junction temperature, consider using a heat sink.
    • Ensure adequate ventilation and cooling for high-power applications.
  6. Testing:

    • Use a multimeter set to the diode test mode to check for continuity.
    • A forward-biased diode should show a voltage drop close to the specified VF.
    • A reverse-biased diode should show an open circuit.
  7. Compliance:

    • Ensure that the application complies with relevant safety and regulatory standards.
