Instructions for Use:

  1. Mounting:

    • Ensure that the device is mounted with adequate heat sinking if operating at high currents.
    • Use a flat surface to ensure good thermal contact.
  2. Electrical Connections:

    • Connect the anode (A) and cathode (K) terminals correctly.
    • Use appropriate wire gauges to minimize resistance and inductance.
  3. Reverse Voltage:

    • Do not exceed the maximum reverse voltage of 15 V to avoid damage to the device.
  4. Forward Current:

    • For continuous operation, do not exceed 50 mA.
    • For pulse operation, do not exceed 150 mA with pulse duration less than 10 μs and frequency less than 100 Hz.
  5. Thermal Management:

    • Ensure proper cooling to keep the junction temperature within the specified range.
    • Avoid operating the device at temperatures exceeding 125°C to prevent thermal runaway.
  6. Storage:

    • Store the device in a dry environment to prevent moisture damage.
    • Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures outside the storage range of -40°C to 150°C.
  7. Handling:

    • Handle the device with care to avoid mechanical stress.
    • Use anti-static precautions to prevent electrostatic discharge damage.
  8. Testing:

    • Test the device under controlled conditions to ensure it meets the specified parameters.
    • Use a suitable power supply and current-limiting resistors during testing.
