Instructions for Use
Power Supply:
- Connect VCC to the power supply voltage within the range of 2.0V to 6.0V.
- Connect GND to the ground.
Data Input:
- Connect the data input pin (DS) to the source of serial data.
- Ensure that the input voltage levels (VIH and VIL) are within the specified range.
Shift Register Clock:
- Connect the shift register clock pin (SH_CP) to the clock signal source.
- The rising edge of SH_CP shifts the data into the register.
Storage Register Clock:
- Connect the storage register clock pin (ST_CP) to the clock signal source.
- The rising edge of ST_CP transfers the data from the shift register to the storage register.
Output Enable:
- Connect the output enable pin (OE) to control the output state.
- Active low: When OE is low, the outputs are enabled.
- High impedance: When OE is high, the outputs are in a high-impedance state.
Master Reset:
- Connect the master reset pin (MR) to control the reset function.
- Active low: When MR is low, all registers are cleared and the outputs are set to high impedance.
Output Pins:
- Connect the output pins (Q0 to Q7) to the desired load.
- Ensure that the current through each output does not exceed 35 mA and the total package current does not exceed 100 mA.
Temperature Considerations:
- Ensure that the operating temperature is within the range of -40°C to 85°C.
- Store the device in an environment where the temperature does not exceed -65°C to 150°C.
Handling Precautions:
- Handle the device with care to avoid static damage.
- Follow proper soldering techniques to ensure reliable connections.
Testing and Verification:
- Verify the functionality of the device by testing the input and output signals under typical operating conditions.
