Instructions:

  1. Input Voltage (VIN):

    • Ensure the input voltage is within the range of 2.7V to 5.5V.
    • Do not exceed the maximum input voltage to avoid damage.
  2. Output Voltage (VOUT):

    • The output voltage can be adjusted between 1.8V and 3.3V using an external resistor divider.
    • Use the formula: ( V_ = 1.23 times left(1 + fracright) ) to set the desired output voltage, where R1 and R2 are the resistors in the feedback network.
  3. Output Current (IOUT):

    • The device can provide a maximum continuous output current of 300mA.
    • For higher current requirements, consider using a heatsink or a more powerful regulator.
  4. Quiescent Current (IQ):

    • The quiescent current is typically 20μA and can go up to 30μA.
    • This current is consumed by the internal circuitry and does not contribute to the load.
  5. Dropout Voltage (VDROPOUT):

    • The dropout voltage is the minimum difference between the input and output voltages required to maintain regulation.

  6. Load Regulation:

    • The change in output voltage due to changes in load current should be less than 1%.
