Instructions

  1. Power On/Off:

    • Press the ON/OFF button to turn the multimeter on or off.
  2. Function Selection:

    • Use the rotary switch to select the desired measurement function (e.g., DC voltage, AC voltage, resistance, etc.).
  3. Range Selection:

    • For auto range, set the rotary switch to the "AUTO" position.
    • For manual range, select the appropriate range using the rotary switch.
  4. Connecting Probes:

    • Insert the red probe into the "VΩmA" jack for voltage, resistance, continuity, diode test, and temperature measurements.
    • Insert the black probe into the "COM" jack.
    • For current measurements, insert the red probe into the "10A" jack for currents up to 10A.
  5. Performing Measurements:

    • Place the probes across the component or circuit you want to measure.
    • Read the measurement on the LCD display.
  6. Continuity Test:

    • Set the rotary switch to the continuity test position.
    • Touch the probes to the points you want to test. The multimeter will beep if the resistance is less than 50Ω.
  7. Diode Test:

    • Set the rotary switch to the diode test position.
    • Connect the red probe to the anode and the black probe to the cathode of the diode. The multimeter will display the forward voltage drop.
  8. Temperature Measurement:

    • Connect a K-type thermocouple to the "K" jack.
    • Set the rotary switch to the temperature measurement position.
    • Place the thermocouple in the area to be measured.
  9. Battery Replacement:

    • Turn off the multimeter.
    • Remove the battery cover located on the back of the multimeter.
    • Replace the 9V battery.
    • Reattach the battery cover.
  10. Maintenance:

    • Keep the multimeter clean and dry.
    • Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.
    • Do not expose to extreme temperatures or humidity.
    • Periodically check the probes and leads for damage and replace if necessary.
