Instructions
Power On/Off:
- Press the
ON/OFF
button to turn the multimeter on or off.
- Press the
Function Selection:
- Use the rotary switch to select the desired measurement function (e.g., DC voltage, AC voltage, resistance, etc.).
Range Selection:
- For auto range, set the rotary switch to the "AUTO" position.
- For manual range, select the appropriate range using the rotary switch.
Connecting Probes:
- Insert the red probe into the "VΩmA" jack for voltage, resistance, continuity, diode test, and temperature measurements.
- Insert the black probe into the "COM" jack.
- For current measurements, insert the red probe into the "10A" jack for currents up to 10A.
Performing Measurements:
- Place the probes across the component or circuit you want to measure.
- Read the measurement on the LCD display.
Continuity Test:
- Set the rotary switch to the continuity test position.
- Touch the probes to the points you want to test. The multimeter will beep if the resistance is less than 50Ω.
Diode Test:
- Set the rotary switch to the diode test position.
- Connect the red probe to the anode and the black probe to the cathode of the diode. The multimeter will display the forward voltage drop.
Temperature Measurement:
- Connect a K-type thermocouple to the "K" jack.
- Set the rotary switch to the temperature measurement position.
- Place the thermocouple in the area to be measured.
Battery Replacement:
- Turn off the multimeter.
- Remove the battery cover located on the back of the multimeter.
- Replace the 9V battery.
- Reattach the battery cover.
Maintenance:
- Keep the multimeter clean and dry.
- Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- Do not expose to extreme temperatures or humidity.
- Periodically check the probes and leads for damage and replace if necessary.
