Instructions for Use:
Supply Voltage (Vcc):
- Ensure the supply voltage is within the specified range (4.5V to 5.5V) to avoid damage or improper operation.
Quiescent Current (Iq):
- The quiescent current is typically 10 μA, but can go up to 15 μA. This is the current consumed by the regulator when no load is present.
Output Voltage (Vo):
- The regulated output voltage is 3.3V. This is the voltage provided to the load under normal operating conditions.
Load Regulation:
- The change in output voltage with respect to load current should not exceed 0.1%. This ensures stable output voltage even as the load changes.
Line Regulation:
- The change in output voltage with respect to input voltage should not exceed 0.05%. This ensures the output remains stable even if the input voltage fluctuates.
Dropout Voltage (Vdo):
- The dropout voltage is typically 0.3V. Ensure that the input voltage is at least 0.3V higher than the output voltage to maintain regulation.
Thermal Shutdown Temperature (Tsd):
- The device will shut down if the temperature exceeds 150°C to prevent damage from overheating.
Short-Circuit Current (Isc):
- The maximum current during a short circuit is 200mA. The device has internal protection to limit current and prevent damage.
Operating Temperature Range (Topr):
- The device is designed to operate within an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 85°C.
Storage Temperature Range (Tstg):
- The device can be stored at temperatures ranging from -65°C to 150°C without damage.
Additional Notes:
- Always ensure proper heat dissipation if the device is expected to operate near its maximum power dissipation.
- Use appropriate decoupling capacitors on the input and output to filter noise and stabilize the output voltage.
- Refer to the datasheet for detailed pin configurations and application circuits.
