Instructions for Use:
- Input Voltage: Ensure the input voltage is within the specified range (17V to 35V) to avoid damage or improper operation.
- Output Voltage: The L7815C2T and L7815CD2T are fixed 15V regulators. Do not connect loads that require a different output voltage.
- Output Current: The maximum continuous output current is 1.5A. For higher currents, consider using a heatsink or a more powerful regulator.
- Heat Dissipation: The thermal resistance (RθJA) is 48°C/W. Use a heatsink if the power dissipation exceeds the self-cooling capacity of the device to prevent overheating.
- Capacitors: Place a 0.33μF capacitor on the input side and a 0.1μF capacitor on the output side to ensure stability and reduce ripple.
- Operating Temperature: The operating temperature range is -40°C to 125°C. Ensure the ambient temperature does not exceed these limits.
- Storage Temperature: Store the device in a temperature range of -65°C to 150°C to avoid damage.
- Polarity: Ensure correct polarity when connecting the device. Reversing the input and output can cause damage.
