Instructions for Using the CD4513:
Supply Voltage (VCC):
- Ensure the supply voltage is within the range of 3.0V to 18V.
- Connect the positive terminal of the power supply to VCC and the negative terminal to GND.
Input Logic Levels:
- For a logic low, the input voltage should be between 0V and 0.8V.
- For a logic high, the input voltage should be between 2.0V and VCC.
Output Current:
- The output can sink up to 6mA (IOL) and source up to 0.4mA (IOH).
- Ensure that the load connected to the output does not exceed these current limits.
Propagation Delay:
- The typical propagation delay time (tpd) is 25ns, with a maximum of 100ns.
- The high-to-low and low-to-high propagation delays (tphl and tplh) are also 25ns to 100ns.
- The maximum propagation delay (tpd(max)) is 150ns.
Temperature Ranges:
- The operating temperature range is from -40°C to 85°C.
- The storage temperature range is from -65°C to 150°C.
Pin Configuration:
- Refer to the datasheet for the specific pin configuration and functions.
- Ensure all unused inputs are tied to a known state (either VCC or GND) to avoid floating inputs.
Decoupling Capacitors:
- Place a 0.1μF ceramic capacitor close to the VCC and GND pins to filter out noise and stabilize the supply voltage.
Handling Precautions:
- The CD4513 is sensitive to electrostatic discharge (ESD). Use proper ESD protection when handling the device.
- Avoid exceeding the maximum ratings specified in the datasheet to prevent damage to the device.
