Instructions for Use:
Mounting:
- Ensure the rectifier bridge is mounted on a heatsink if continuous operation at high currents is expected.
- Use a thermal compound between the rectifier and the heatsink to improve heat dissipation.
Soldering:
- Preheat the PCB to reduce thermal shock.
- Soldering temperature should not exceed 260°C.
- Soldering time should be kept to a minimum, typically less than 10 seconds per connection.
Electrical Connections:
- Connect the AC input to the two center terminals (pins 2 and 3).
- Connect the positive DC output to the top terminal (pin 1).
- Connect the negative DC output to the bottom terminal (pin 4).
Overvoltage Protection:
- Consider adding overvoltage protection components such as varistors or TVS diodes to protect against voltage spikes.
Cooling:
- For applications where the rectifier will operate near its maximum current rating, ensure adequate cooling to keep the junction temperature within the specified range.
Storage:
- Store the rectifier bridge in a dry, cool place to prevent moisture damage.
- Avoid exposure to extreme temperatures and direct sunlight.
Handling:
- Handle with care to avoid mechanical damage.
