Instructions for Use:
Power Supply:
- Connect the supply voltage (VCC) to the positive power supply pin and ground (GND) to the negative power supply pin.
- Ensure the supply voltage is within the specified range (4.5V to 5.5V).
Gain Control:
- Apply the gain control voltage (VGAIN) to the gain control pin.
- The gain control voltage should be between 0V and 1.5V for the full gain range of 30 dB.
Input Signal:
- Connect the input signal to the RF input pin.
- Ensure the input frequency is within the specified range (10 MHz to 600 MHz).
Output Signal:
- Connect a 50 Ω load to the RF output pin.
- The output power can reach up to 27 dBm at 100 MHz with a 50 Ω load.
Shutdown Mode:
- To enter shutdown mode, apply a low logic level to the shutdown pin (SD).
- In shutdown mode, the supply current drops to approximately 10 μA.
Thermal Management:
- Ensure adequate heat dissipation if operating at high power levels or in high ambient temperatures.
- The device is designed to operate within the industrial temperature range (-40°C to 85°C).
Layout Considerations:
- Use short, wide traces for RF signals to minimize losses and parasitic effects.
- Place bypass capacitors close to the power supply pins to ensure stable operation.
Storage:
- Store the device in a dry environment to prevent moisture damage.
- The storage temperature range is -65°C to 150°C.
