Instructions for Use
Power Supply:
- Ensure the supply voltage (VDD) is within the range of 2.7V to 5.25V.
- Connect the ground (GND) pin to the system ground.
Input Configuration:
- Connect the differential input signals to the IN+ and IN- pins.
- Ensure the common mode input range is between 0V and VDD.
Output Data Rate:
- Set the desired output data rate using the configuration registers. The available rates range from 4.7 SPS to 1600 SPS.
Power Management:
- To reduce power consumption, use the power-down mode by setting the appropriate register bit. The supply current in this mode is approximately 1 μA.
Communication:
- Use the SPI interface to communicate with the AD7790. Refer to the datasheet for detailed SPI communication protocols.
Calibration:
- Perform initial calibration if required to ensure accurate measurements. Calibration can be done through the SPI interface.
Temperature Considerations:
- Operate the device within the temperature range of -40°C to 85°C to ensure reliable performance.
Handling and Storage:
- Handle the device with care to avoid damage to the pins and package.
- Store the device in a dry, static-free environment.
