Instructions for Use:

  1. Power Supply:

    • Connect the Vcc pin to a stable 5V power supply.
    • Ensure that the Vpp pin is connected to a 12.5V to 13.5V programming voltage during programming.
  2. Ground Connection:

    • Connect the GND pin to a common ground.
  3. Address Lines:

    • Connect the address lines (A0-A14) to the appropriate address bus.
  4. Data Lines:

    • Connect the data lines (D0-D7) to the appropriate data bus.
  5. Control Signals:

    • Chip Select (CS): Low to enable the device.
    • Output Enable (OE): Low to enable data output.
    • Write Enable (WE): Low to initiate a write cycle.
  6. Programming:

    • Apply the programming voltage (Vpp) to the Vpp pin.
    • Set the address lines to the desired memory location.
    • Set the data lines to the data to be written.
    • Lower the WE signal to initiate the write cycle.
    • Wait for the write cycle time (2 ms max) before raising the WE signal.
  7. Erasing:

    • Expose the device to UV light for at least 20 seconds to erase the contents of the PROM.
  8. Data Retention:

    • Store the device in a cool, dry environment to ensure data retention for up to 10 years.
  9. Handling:

    • Handle the device with care to avoid static discharge.
    • Follow standard ESD precautions when handling the device.
