Instructions for Use:
Power Supply:
- Connect the Vcc pin to a stable 5V power supply.
- Ensure that the Vpp pin is connected to a 12.5V to 13.5V programming voltage during programming.
Ground Connection:
- Connect the GND pin to a common ground.
Address Lines:
- Connect the address lines (A0-A14) to the appropriate address bus.
Data Lines:
- Connect the data lines (D0-D7) to the appropriate data bus.
Control Signals:
- Chip Select (CS): Low to enable the device.
- Output Enable (OE): Low to enable data output.
- Write Enable (WE): Low to initiate a write cycle.
Programming:
- Apply the programming voltage (Vpp) to the Vpp pin.
- Set the address lines to the desired memory location.
- Set the data lines to the data to be written.
- Lower the WE signal to initiate the write cycle.
- Wait for the write cycle time (2 ms max) before raising the WE signal.
Erasing:
- Expose the device to UV light for at least 20 seconds to erase the contents of the PROM.
Data Retention:
- Store the device in a cool, dry environment to ensure data retention for up to 10 years.
Handling:
- Handle the device with care to avoid static discharge.
- Follow standard ESD precautions when handling the device.
